FTP Drop Box

We have the ability for you to use your web browser to drop files onto our server instead of using email – it is a better and more effective way to do provide us with data-files.

It's possible to use your own ftp client software and but the easiest way to do so is as follows:

1. Open your web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer). Go to Tools, Internet Options and click on Advanced
2. Scroll down to ‘Use Passive FTP’. Ensure this box is NOT ticked
3. Go to ftp://mail.addisons.com.au (or type that address into the address bar)
4. This should open a screen with a folder on our server with a folder called Incoming
5. Copy (drag and drop) your MYOB data-files into the “Incoming” folder. We note that you won’t be able to see them after they finish copying.
6. Then email info@addisons.com.au or the relevant member of the Addison’s team to then check that your files have been received successfully
